What is Jelly Match 3?
Swap wobbly jellies, fill the score bar and beat the clock level after level.
Jelly Match 3 is a colourful swap-and-match puzzle. The board is filled with bright jellies, and swapping two neighbours to line up three or more of the same kind clears them. Jellies above drop down into the gaps and new ones fall in from the top, which can set off further matches on their own.
Each level has a score bar to fill and a timer line counting down. Fill the bar before time runs out and you move on to the next level, where the target is higher. The game tracks your moves, your level and your best score.
How matching works
You look for a swap that will line up three or more matching jellies. When you find one, the matched jellies burst, the score bar grows and the board refills. Chains of falling jellies that form new matches add even more to the bar.
Meanwhile the timer line keeps shrinking. If it runs out before the score bar is full, the game ends. Reaching a new level resets the clock but raises the target, so the pace gradually picks up.
Scoring strategies
Play from the bottom
A match near the bottom moves every jelly above it, which creates more chances for new matches as pieces fall. Matches at the top move very little. Scanning from the bottom up is the simplest way to create more chain reactions.
Do not hesitate
Because the timer is always running, speed matters. Rather than searching for the perfect move every time, take a good move quickly and keep the score bar climbing.
Look for longer lines
Lining up four or five jellies clears more pieces in one go and fills the bar faster than a simple three.
Your first level
- Scan the board for any line of two matching jellies with a third nearby.
- Swap to complete the line and watch the score bar fill.
- Look near the bottom of the board for matches that cause chain reactions.
- Keep an eye on the timer line as you work.
- Fill the bar to reach level two.
Controls
- ▸Click or tap a piece to select it.
- ▸Click or tap a neighbouring piece to swap them.
- ▸Swaps only stick if they create a line of three or more.
Common mistakes to avoid
- ✕Spending too long hunting for a perfect move.
- ✕Working only at the top of the board.
- ✕Forgetting to watch the timer line.
Quick tips
- ★Bottom-row matches create more chain reactions.
- ★Keep moving — the timer never stops.
- ★Bigger matches fill the score bar faster.
Deep dive
Racing the clock
The timer gives Jelly Match 3 a lively pace. It is still relaxing, but you cannot simply stare at the board forever. That balance between thinking and acting is what makes each level feel exciting.
Chain reactions
The most satisfying moments come when one swap triggers a cascade: matched jellies disappear, others fall, and new matches form on their own. Learning to set those up deliberately is the key to higher levels.
Who it suits
Jelly Match 3 suits players of all ages who enjoy colourful puzzles. It is non-violent and easy to understand.

Hot Jewels is a timed gem-matching game with its own rules, and Cartoon Candy has you connect candies by dragging a chain instead of swapping.
