What is Super Color Lines?
The classic colour-lines puzzle: line up five balls and keep the grid from filling.
Super Color Lines is the classic colour-lines puzzle with bright, easy-to-read coloured balls. Each turn you move one ball to an empty square, provided there is a clear path for it to travel. Line up five or more balls of the same colour in a row, column or diagonal and they vanish, scoring points.
If a move does not clear a line, new balls appear on the board. The challenge is to keep making lines while preventing the grid from filling up. Your last score, high score and all-time total are shown on the menu so you can track your progress.
How the puzzles work
On your turn, select a ball and choose where it should go. The ball travels along an open route to its new square. Five or more in a straight line clear and score points; that turn, no new balls are added.
Every move that does not clear a line brings more balls onto the board. The game ends when the board is full. Good play balances building lines with keeping the board open.
Solving strategies
Protect the centre
Central squares connect every part of the board. Keeping them clear lets balls travel freely and makes every future move easier.
Look for double lines
A ball placed where two potential lines cross can complete both at once, scoring more and clearing more space.
Clear early
Do not wait until the board is crowded to focus on clearing. A steady rhythm of finished lines keeps the board manageable.
Your first puzzle
- Scan the board for a colour with several balls close together.
- Pick a line near the edge of the board to build on.
- Move balls into place one by one.
- Make sure each move does not block important paths.
- Clear your first line of five.
Controls
- ▸Click or tap a ball to select it.
- ▸Click or tap an empty square to send it there.
- ▸Moves only work if a clear path exists.
Common mistakes to avoid
- ✕Clogging the centre.
- ✕Leaving many half-finished lines.
- ✕Ignoring which moves block paths.
Quick tips
- ★Edges are good places for lines.
- ★Clearing a line stops new balls that turn.
- ★Keep corridors open for movement.
Deep dive
Why lines endures
Lines has been a favourite puzzle since the early days of computer games because every move matters and no two games are the same. Super Color Lines presents it cleanly with clear colours that are easy to tell apart.
Thinking ahead
Strong players think about the next few moves, not just the current one. Where will the new balls land? Will this move leave room for the next line? That forward planning is what makes the game so absorbing.
Who it suits
Super Color Lines suits anyone who enjoys calm, strategic puzzles. There is no timer, so you can play at your own pace.
Elapsed time
The game tracks how long you have been playing. Long, careful games often produce the biggest scores.
Practising patience
Try one game where you only make moves that keep the centre clear. You will notice how much longer the game lasts.
Who Super Color Lines suits
Super Color Lines suits thoughtful players who enjoy planning ahead. There is no clock, so it is ideal for a quiet session where you can consider every move carefully. It is also an excellent game for anyone who wants to practise planning several moves ahead.
